Steckman Pilates and Wellness is more than just a Pilates Studio, offering Pilates, and Health & Nutrition Coaching. We approach the whole body developing Physical Health, Nutrition & Environment, to Mental, Emotional, & Spiritual Well-Being.
Steckman Pilates and Wellness teaches classical Pilates following the original teachings that Joesph Pilates developed and the three guiding principles of Pilates, Whole Body Health, Whole Body Commitment, and Breath, approaching each individual uniquely.

Pilates increases core strength, stability, and joint mobility. It helps to prevent and recover from injuries by addressing muscular imbalances and correcting movement patterns and posture. It’s low stress on the body making it great for recovery, relieve aches and pains, and being active without the risk of over training. It can complement other workouts and activities or be sufficient as your primary exercise.

Amanda graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology and Nutrition, with a minor in Gerontology. During college she began personal training at the KSU recreational center and also worked in long term care as a CNA in the dementia and Alzheimer’s unit. Shortly after moving to Atlanta she discovered Pilates and instantly fell in love! Amanda got comprehensively trained through Power Pilates and found that clients were getting better results from Pilates, over coming plateaus, and over all feeling better. Pilates gets results and works!
Over the years she has helped clients of all ages and goals creating customized programs, challenging, motivating, and guiding clients along the way. Amanda is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and incorporates Pilates principles into her personal training. She holds several other speciality certifications such as TRX, Kettlebells, Biomechanics Corrective Exercise Specialist, Trigger Point Total Body Self-Myofascial Release, IIN Health Coach, and a Rapid Transformational Therapist and is well versed to helping empower people to live a healthy life through more than just exercise.
Health and Nutrition Coaches are wellness experts and mentors who help you feel your best through personalized diet and lifestyle changes. Amanda will work with you to help you discover the best wellness routines that work for you and empower you to meet your unique health goals.
